Ryvu Therapeutics is a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company developing novel small molecule therapies addressing high value emerging targets in precision oncology.

As Bioinformatics Developer you will be part of a research unit and you will contribute to oncology research, supporting drug discovery and development from target validation through clinical investigation.

We are looking for an Individual having experience in statistical analysis and bioinformatics.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Molecular target identification
  • Deciphering the mechanism of action related to a particular therapy
  • Revealing responder vs. non-responder characteristics and developing novel biomarkers (diagnostic, prognostic or predictive) toward precision medicine in cancer
  • Handling large-scale genomic and proteomics datasets
  • Development and/or application of computational algorithms and statistical/machine learning approaches that integrate diverse types of high-throughput molecular data, towards understanding specific cancer networks and their response to therapy, will be needed
YOUR BACKGROUND

Must have:

  • Master degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of hands-on programming experience in Python, R, Bash, and Linux.
  • Strong experience with RESTful API management and integration.
  • 1–2 years of experience building dashboards with Shiny, Streamlit, or Dash.
  • 1–2 years of experience in Docker-based development.
  • Solid knowledge of workflow languages, preferably Nextflow.
  • Proficient in Git-based development (GitHub/GitLab).
  • 1–2 years of experience working with NGS data. 
  • Fluency in English

 

Nice to have:

  • Background in cancer biology and experience with clinical/translational datasets (e.g., TCGA, CCLE, DepMap).
  • Familiarity with WGS, WES, and RNAseq preprocessing.
  • Knowledge of RNAseq downstream analysis (e.g., differential expression, enrichment analysis, network analysis).
  • Documentation and repository maintenance skills.
